For almost 100 years, Diamond City Alliance Church has ministered to the city of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and our surrounding communities. Today, we continue to strive to love and serve our city! Diamond City Alliance Church is a family of imperfect people trying our best to follow in The Way of Jesus. The Way of Jesus is about Jesus doing for us what we could not do for ourselves. He is our Savior. And He reconciles us to His Father, so we can be with Him forever. In response, we offer our own lives as a “living sacrifice”, allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us each and every day. We try our best to love and serve others as Jesus has loved and served us. When we needed hope and purpose, Jesus came into our lives and changed everything. Now we want to share the hope and purpose of Jesus with others who need it like we did.
Because we all come with a past, we don’t judge others’ situations. We simply try to point them to the peace and love Jesus offers. We are down-to-earth and fun-loving. We gather to worship God together, to learn His word together, to laugh together, cry together; to love, support, and encourage each other.
The heart of our church is to love and serve the city of Wilkes Barre in service of Jesus. We want to offer hope to the hopeless; freedom to those held captive by their past, by their mistakes, by their addiction; and healing to those broken by the world.
