Scott joined DCAC in the spring of 2021. He is married to his Jr. High sweetheart, Sara, and has 3 boys, one grandson, and another on the way!
He serves as a bi-vocational pastor, which means that along with pastoring our church family, he works as the Church Engagement Coordinator with Bethany Christian Services, connecting local churches to families in need. He believes ministry happens as much over a cup of coffee on a Tuesday as it does from the pulpit on Sunday.
Scott's heart is for people who feel like church isn't for them — the struggling, the skeptical, and anyone carrying a past they think disqualifies them. His preaching is honest and practical, rooted in the Bible and aimed at real life.
Scott is old enough that he doesn’t really remember what his hobbies are. But he does like drinking coffee, cooking, and listening to an eclectic mix of music - from jazz, to punk, to alternative.
